Introducing a fresh and dynamic 1-year teacher training course for early career to established piano teachers who are interested in developing a better foundation, become more resourceful and better address the challenges encountered in their practice.
Highlights of the course include:
- Facilitating music literacy.
- Optimising different learning styles in your lessons.
- How to evaluate and select learning materials.
- Identifying and tackling technical difficulties.
- Understanding the coordinated physical and mental demands of piano playing and helping students overcome overwhelm in these areas.
- Linking knowledge and activities to develop functional musicianship.
- Being able to steer a student towards a confident and effective musical performer.
Admission Requirements
- Abrsm grade 6 piano or its equivalent from a recognized examination body.
- Must be 18 years and above.
- Some experience in teaching.
Date and Time
Tuesdays and Thursdays 6:00 – 7:00pm
Course Fee
Kshs. 36,000/- per term payable in 3 instalments
